The text “Helsinki-Hämeenlinna 1862-1962” beside the relief refers to the terminuses of that railway and to the maiden journey made by the ‘Lemminkäinen’ train on January 31, 1862. The memorial can be found by the main entrance to the Railway Station. The memorial doesn’t belong to the City of Helsinki’s art collection, which is managed by HAM. Read more.. At map
