You can buy tickets at the ticket counter or online. You can reserve a ticket before your visit even if you have a card that entitles you to a discount or free admission. Please present your ticket and the card that entitles you to a discount at the museum entrance. You can also reserve tickets for children and those under the age of 18, who are entitled to free admission to the museum.

You can buy a Museum Card at HAM. Price: €79 per year for a new card or €73 per year for the renewal of an existing card.

Paying

At HAM Tennis Palace you can pay by cash and debit/credit cards (Visa, Mastercard). You can also pay for admission and Museum Card with a Smartum cultural voucher, ePassi, Tyky voucher, Virike voucher, Edenred card or Edenred mobile, and Mobile Pay.

Tickets sales end half an hour before the museum’s closing time.

  • 18–24 year-olds
  • Persons undergoing military or non-military service
  • Groups min. 10 visitors
  • Employees of the City of Helsinki (with personnel card)
  • Teachers
  • European Youth Card (student admission fee)
  • Customers who have applied for or been granted asylum or temporary protection (Customers can prove that they belong to the discount group by presenting a residence permit card or a certificate)

  • Holders of the Finnish Museums Association’s museum card
  • Holders of a Helsinki Card
  • War veterans, members of Lotta Svärd and war invalids
  • Members of Suomen opasliitto
  • Registered University students in Art History
  • Escorts and helpers of rehabilitation patients and disabled persons
  • Culture companions and their customers
  • Supervisors of day care and school groups
  • Visual artists and visual arts students (with the membership card of a visual arts association or student card)
  • Teachers and kindergarten teachers in the Helsinki region when preparing for a visit
  • Members of Kuvataideopettajat ry (with a valid membership card)
  • Members of the media (with a press card)
  • Members of the Finnish Critics’ Association (SARV)
  • Holders of an ICOM card (not Icomos)
  • The Council and the City Board

You can visit HAM for free on the last Friday of every month (11.30–19).
