Observation and emotion

This workshop, led by Elina Merenmies, is focused on painting observations and emotions with ink.

Elina Merenmies (b. 1967) is a visual artist working with painting and drawing. She is known for drawings and paintings combining expressionistic style and meticulous details. Including references to classical art, her works often depict faces or grotesque creatures. Merenmies is the headmaster of the Free Art School, and she has taught painting at the Academy of Fine Arts.
