You may not use this photo for commercial purposes. © Photo: Helsinki Art Museum / Hanna Kukorelli The Eye Artist Jukka Tuominen , Helsinki Helsinki City Buildings Office has commissioned Jukka Tuominen (b. 1958) to produce a work for the new Kasarmitori. The piece, Eye, is to be on the western side of Kasarmitori on the site of an earlier well. It consists of two concentric steel discs, which will be inlayed into the coble stones of the Market Place. The outer steel disc mimics the market cobble stones while the inner disc is polished smooth like a mirror. The work belongs to the collections of the Helsinki Art Museum. Read more.. At map
