The marks of both the moulding boards and the gradation made in the mould show clearly on their surfaces, lending rhythm to the imposing piece and a allowing changing conditions of lightning to play on its surface. Together with its surroundings, the sculpture The Growth is pure 1960s. The work follows the ascetic aesthetics of the surrounding architecture, being itself an architectural element. The work has been removed in 2013. It belonged to the collections of the Helsinki Art Museum. Read more.. At map
